Types of membership

The Association of Cataract and Refractive Surgery offers the following membership categories:
  • “Ophthalmologist” membership – EUR 50 for 1 year
  • “Resident, optician, optometrist” membership – EUR 25 for 1 year

All ACRS members receive access to the presentations from the conferences organised by the Association, as well as to specialised materials and events.

How to join

To become a member of the Association, please fill in the following form:

1. Register
Create a personal account on the site from the “My Profile”. Registration takes only a minute and gives you access to your membership status, payment history and all membership benefits.

2. Choose a membership type and pay online
After registration, click the “Buy membership” button, choose the category that matches your role (Ophthalmologist / Resident, optician, optometrist), and complete the payment online by card.

3. Done!
Immediately after a successful payment, your membership is activated automatically for the current calendar year. From your profile you can check the status and validity of your membership at any time, as well as renew it.

  • ACRS membership is valid for one calendar year (1 January – 31 December).
  • The membership fee for the following year may be paid from 1 October of the current year.
  • Members with active membership status as of the registration date benefit from preferential fees for participation in ACRS scientific events.
  • Members newly admitted after 1 October receive membership valid for the following calendar year as well.

Important: Online membership applications are submitted through the electronic form on the site. After the membership fee is paid successfully, the membership is activated automatically and the user gains access to the resources intended for members.
